Abstract

|
Superovulation therapy during assisted conception may result in a hypercoagulable state. This hypercoagulable state increases the risk of venous thromboembolism, and the IJV appears to have a preponderance in uncommon-site thrombosis. Once the diagnosis is suspected, appropriate imaging should be performed to evaluate the possible complications. Traditional therapies for DVT are antibiotics and anticoagulation If recognized early and treated promptly, resolution is the rule. In This article, A case of thrombophlebitis of the internal jugular vein after conception therapy is reported.
